Buzz the Super ("Buzz", "we", "us") provides AI-powered building superintendent services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services via text, phone, web chat, our dashboards, or the Buzz app for iPhone and iPad.

How we collect it: directly from what you type, say, photograph, record or upload in a conversation with Buzz (text message, Telegram, web chat, phone call, or the app); from the forms and imports you complete; from your device when you allow the camera, microphone, location or notifications; and from the people who run your building when they add you to it.
Your data is not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
Buzz answers by sending what you share to third-party AI services that produce the response on its behalf. We ask for your permission before the first time we do this: in the app and on the web, a consent screen names what is sent and who receives it before any product screen opens, and Buzz refuses to send anything until you have agreed. You may decline, in which case you are signed out and nothing is sent. Three doors answer without an account and so carry the same disclosure beside the message box instead of a consent screen: the first conversation on the website, a contractor's Ask Buzz on a job link, and the walkthrough on an inspection link. On those doors, sending a message, photo, video or voice note is your agreement to that message being processed as described here.

What is never sent to an AI service: your spreadsheet imports, billing and payment details, and sign-in credentials.
These providers process the data only to produce Buzz's answer, under agreements that prohibit using it to train their models, and they protect it with security and confidentiality commitments equivalent to ours. AI-generated content is clearly attributed as coming from Buzz. You can withdraw your permission at any time by deleting your account in the app or by writing to privacy@buzzthesuper.com.
We share information only as needed to provide our service:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We retain maintenance request data and conversation history for the duration of the building's subscription plus 12 months. Photos and media are stored in secure cloud storage. You can delete your account from inside the app (Account details → Delete account; a 7-day grace period applies) or request deletion of your data by contacting us.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. Database access is restricted using row-level security policies.

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via their preferred communication channel.
